Dermal Fillers
From £299
Additional syringes from £150 (Depending on filler)
Dermal fillers are used to treat wrinkles that are caused by gravity, repeated creasing and loss of volume as we age. They are also useful for lip enhancement and volume replacement for example the cheeks.
We use Hyaluronic acid (HA) as a filler because it occurs in the body as a natural substance and it gives our skin volume and moisture. As we age the skins natural Hyaluronic acid diminishes over time leaving the skin thinner, more wrinkled and prone to creases. Small amounts of a pharmacologically produced Hyaluronic acid can be injected into the skin to hydrate and plump it up.
During your filler treatment consultation you will be asked questions to ensure there are no reasons why you shouldn't receive BELOTERO. We will make sure you know about the product we are using and answer any questions you have about the treatment. Local anaesthetic cream can be applied before your consultation starts to minimise discomfort.
BELOTERO consists of Hyaluronic acid (a natural constituent of normal skin) and comes in individual syringes which also contain local anaesthetic to reduce discomfort. BELOTERO has superior integrating properties and readily perfuses into the tissues evenly and smoothly. There are three consistencies soft, balance and intense. We would use soft for frown lines, crows feet and lip lines. Balance for mouth to nose lines and lip enhancement and intense where a little more fullness is required in these areas.
When you feel confident to proceed the areas to be treated will be cleaned with a sterile wipe, we will discuss the treatment you are receiving throughout the consultation. In most cases there is visible and subtle improvement immediately. There may be a little swelling or redness after the injections which can be covered with concealer and soon subsides. There are no restrictions to your daily routine immediately following the treatment.
Patients treated with BELOTERO typically continue to show a visible improvement nine months after treatment. We would recommend a review for possible follow up treatment every 6-9 months.

Botox (Botulinium Toxin Type A )
3 areas £299
2 areas £249
1 area £189
Botulinum toxin type A (often abbreviated to Botox) is the most well known of the wrinkle treatments. It is a muscle relaxing medicine which blocks the nerve signals that cause the muscles to contract when we frown. Less movement occurs and lines become softer and less noticeable. We use it to principally treat lines that are caused by muscle movement.
The Botulinium toxin we use is called BOCOUTURE, it is free from complexing proteins and is heat stable so it is more reliable. BOCOUTURE is MHRA and FDA approved
At your consultation Dr Sarah Marshall and Debbie Misseldine will ask about your medical history, whether you are taking any medications or have any allergies. We will ask if you have had any facial treatments in the past. We will ask questions to make sure there aren't any reasons that the treatment would be unsuitable for you.
When you feel you know enough about the treatment and are happy to proceed some before photographs will be taken. You will then be asked about the lines that trouble you the most. Your facial movements will be observed and the strength of the various muscles noted. You may wish to have one, two or three areas treated and we will advise you accordingly. The points for injection will be marked with a white pencil whilst taking into account any lack of symmetry of your face. We comfortably position you semi-upright on the couch and your skin will be cleaned with a sterile wipe. The injections are made very superficially at each point taking care not to cause bruising. Some of the injections may sting a little while others may be completely painless.
Afterwards some soothing cream is applied. You will be encouraged to move you facial muscles as normal but not to rub the injected areas. We would advised you not to do vigorous exercise for a couple of hours but otherwise you may carry on with normal daily activities such as driving and applying make up with no restriction.
Over the next four to five days and up to two weeks the treatment will take effect. We will review you free of charge after two weeks to take after photographs and check you are happy with the result. If it is your first treatment and depending on your age we recommend you consider a further treatment after 3-4 months to maintain the results.
